OUR HISTORY

PBM LLC was established in Rijeka, the largest port in Croatia, in 1995. as a one-man vision. Ever since, PBM has been continuously growing.

In 1999, PBM was among the first small Croatian companies to obtain the ISO 9001 Quality Certificate.

Our Quality of Service and focus on clients were soon recognized by Woodward Inc. a leading US company and PBM became Woodward Authorised Service Facility (AISF) in 2005.

Following our Mission to support our clients wherever they may need us, we started our expansion on the global market in 2005, establishing PBM Slovakia with a workshop in Bratislava. Black Sea region was our next target and, in 2013, PBM Romania was established, with workshop in Santierul Naval Constanta Shipyard. PBM Bulgaria followed in 2018 with workshop in Odessos Shipyard in Varna. The global hot spot of maritime industry, China, was a logical next step, and workshop has been opened in Shanghai in 2019. To cover the focal point of European shipbuilding and ship repair industry, PBM Turkey was established in 2020 with a workshop in Istanbul Tuzla. The Baltic Sea region is covered in 2021, through our company PBM Baltics UAB with workshop in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
